The building, partly jutting out on Canale delle Moline, had been propped up for a long time due to the excessive overloading of cellar floors carriers (a triple loading as against the limit load). Therefore the front towards the Canal was consolidated by reproducing the original structural layout, and placing the new steel bolts in contrast with the basic floor. The intervention involved the whole façade, featuring a big state of degradation, with damages caused by up to 6 cm slipping outside the vertical plane, that were repaired. Aesthetically and functionally, all of the complementary elements, such as sewer drains, flashings and so on were fixed up.
